2014 1/2 gram Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep gold coin

Have a look at this tiny little gold coin. This is the 1/2 gram Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep coin from the Royal Canadian Mint. It is smaller than a dime and made of 99.99% gold. I am a huge fan of these tiny gold coins (you can probably tell from my blog posts and videos) and I really like this one. It is amazing the level of detail they were able to put of the sheep's head and horns - it looks really excellent. Have a look at the video to see more detail (and to see the other 1/2 gram gold coins I have).

Have faith in your silver/gold investing knowledge

There is a lot of investing information out there from a lot of sources - web sites, articles, books, videos, etc. A majority of it is great, but some of it is bad. Same goes for the other investors you interact with - some are very knowledgeable but some really are not. Trouble is, often times the worst information is often coming from the loudest people. In this video I talk about trusting your own investing knowledge and not feeling that someone else is correct just because they are loud/popular/experienced.

How to tell if your one cent coins are copper

Did you know that most of us have copper coins in our everyday change? Yep! Some circulation one cent coins from the USA are made of 95% copper. This is a great way to start building up copper as an investment since you do not need to actually purchase anything - just look in your change. The only tricky part is figuring out which of the coins contain copper and which do not. This video shows two incredibly easy ways to sort the copper coins from the regular ones. Happy hunting!

20 for 20 Series: 2014 Canada Goose silver coin

Here it is - the 11th coin in the Royal Canadian Mint's 20 for 20 series - the 2014 Canada Goose. For those of you who don't know, each of these coins is 1/4 ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The coins have a $20 face value and could originally be bought from the mint for exactly $20 (no fees, no taxes, no nothing). This coin had a mintage of 225,000 and, like all of the coins in the series, sold out quickly. This video shows the coin in more detail and also shows the other 10 coins in the series.

Is copper bullion a good investment?

Most of the time we talk about gold and silver, the big two for metal investors. But what about the often forgotten copper? More specifically, what about pure copper bullion? In this video I look at the pros and cons of investing in copper bullion and talk about if it is worth it for us investors. My analysis is straightforward and something that most metal investors will probably agree with. Take a look.

20 for 20 Series: 2013 Santa silver coin

This is the 10th coin in the Royal Canadian Mint's $20 for $20 series. In this series of coins, you get a 1/4 ounce pure silver coin with a $20 face value for $20 Canadian (with no extra fees or taxes or markup if you buy directly from the Canadian Mint). I love these because, if times get tough, I can trade them back in for exactly what I paid for them ($20).

This coin is a holiday themed coin featuring Santa on it. I personally like this one better than the last holiday coin in the series - the Magical Reindeer. Have a look at the video to get a better idea of the coin and to hear my full review.
